  • Understand and use:
    • whole numbers to 10 000 (i.e., 0, 1, 2, 3, … 10 000)
    • decimal numbers to tenths
    • fractions, as follows: compare and order fractions with like numerators by considering the size and the number of fractional parts or by using benchmarks of 0, ½, and 1; demonstrate and explain the relationship between equivalent fractions, using concrete materials and drawings
    • relationships between fractions and decimals to tenths
