- whole numbers to 50 (i.e., 0, 1, 2, 3,… 50)
- anchors of 5 and 10
- fractions, as follows: divide whole objects into equal-sized parts and identify the parts as unit fractions, e.g., ½, ⅓, ¼, using various models, such as an area model, number line model, volume model, set model
